with the price of fuel right now its a good probability all we will see from back east is who shows in az , and that will not go much further than the top 10 in national points . travel is a tough deal right now , even on a local basis .i sure wish we could get more local sprint car racing , even if it was just some local 360 racing ! last oval we had less than 55 cars so having a car count in the 40s is probable . nevertheless , it will be the very best drivers in non-wing racing , which is nothing less than amazing to watch !!

The price of fuel as usual is a California deal. The gas sold in Fresno is different than the gas in the high desert. We also have summer blend and winter blend. Smaller batches of fuel mean higher prices. You can bet the gas sold in San Diego County is very different than the gas sold in Tijuana. But the air down their crosses the border just as easily as an illegal alien and contributes to the San Diego smog figures. If they are diving over they just need to buy as much gas as they can before they cross the California border.

With a decent purse and $10,000 to win I am surprised there are only 40 entries should be some incentives for 360's running with the 410's

Absolutely backitin thinking the same sentiments that was not smart on behalf of ascs to screw some guys that would have run the Ovals. And schedule a race on the same weekend as the Ovals.

Probably why a bonus needs to be paid to the 360's that participate at the Oval Nationals.

There's only a couple at best 410's even left in the entire state of AZ. Even if a 360 bounus was paid you might get 5 car's from there if lucky.
