Final Night of Lawton Speedway Winter Nationals Rescheduled!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma - October 15, 2012 - Rain all afternoon forced track officials at Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Oklahoma to have to reschedule Championship night for the annual Lawton Speedway Winter Nationals until Saturday night, November 3rd.

The top four drivers in each division from this past Friday nights feature finale are locked into the first two rows for championship night. They include the following:

Champ Sprints: Shane Sellers, Robert Sellers, Brandon Jennings, Loyd Clevenger

USA Modifieds: Chad Howell, Stanley Reed, Jr., C.A. Nix, Jasen Hammond

USA Limited Modifieds: Chris Cary, Tony Marsh, Gene Bryce, Cody Nelson

Mini Stocks: Richard Pece, James Norton, Tyler Kincaid, Blake Grigsby

All other drivers not locked into Saturday night's season finale in all divisions will once again redraw for starting positions in their heat races with passing points being utilized to determine "B" and "A" features. Drivers who earn their way into the championship features will start in positions 6-20.

Championship features will see the championship sprint and USA modified features pay $1000 to win and $100 to start the twenty car field. The factory stock and limited modified championship feature winners will earn $400 while just starting the twenty car field will earn $40. The mini stock division will pay $300 to win Saturday night's feature finale and $30 to start.

Gates for both events will open at 5:00 pm with racing action slated for an 8:00 pm.
