Devils Bowl Winter Nationals Race Information!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – October 10, 2012 - Details have been released for the 39th Annual Devils Bowl Speedway Winter Nationals scheduled for Friday and Saturday night, October 19-20, 2012 at the famed Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas. The two day event is highlighted by the final appearance for the 2012 race season by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAV TV.

Divisions that will also be competing will be the USA modifieds, USA limited modifieds and the gladiators of the late model division.

But before racing action gets underway on Friday night, it will be tee time as the 6th Annual Steve King Foundation Golf Tournament of Champions will be taking place at the Buffalo Creek Gold Club in Rockwall, Texas on Thursday night, October 18. Below is payout information for each night and for each racing division and remember, there will be no entry fees either night.

Friday night:

ASCS Sprints: 1) $3000, 2) $1500, 3) $1100, 4) $1000, 5) $800, 6) $700, 7) $600, 8) $500, 9) $475, 10) $450, 11) $425, 12) $400, 13) $350, 14-24) $300

USA Modifieds: 1) $800, 2) $500, 3) $300, 4) $250, 5) $200, 6) $150, 7) $125, 8-20) $100

USA Limited Modifieds: 1) $500, 2) $300, 3) $230, 4) $170 5) $140, 6) $110, 7-20) $100

Saturday night:

ASCS Sprints: 1) $4000, 2) $2000, 3) $1500, 4) $1250, 5) $1150, 6) $1100, 7) $1000, 8) $900, 9) $800, 10) $700, 11) $600, 12) $550, 13) 525, 14) $500, 15) $475, 16) 450, 17) $425, 18-24) $400

Late Models: 1) $1000, 2) $600, 3) $350, 4) $300, 5) $250, 6) $200, 7) $150, 8) $125, 9-20) $100

USA Limited Modifieds: 1) $500, 2) $300, 3) $230, 4) $170, 5) $140, 6) $110, 7-20) $100

Pit gates for racers will open at 2:00 pm while grandstand gates open at 6:00 pm while racing is slated for an 8:00 pm start time both nights.

Is anyone else as fired up about this month as I am? LSN this weekend, DB the next, then STN...I've had these vacation days on the calendar since February. Gonna be sweet!

Just to let everybody know that a bridge is being replaced on Lawson Rd between the racetrack and I-20. There is a detour in place so the road is not completely shut down.
