New Dates for $10,000 to win Stock Car Nationals!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – October 7, 2012 - Rescheduled dates for the third annual Stock Car Nationals paying $10,000 to win at Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada, Oklahoma have been announced according to speedway officials. Those dates are Thursday-Sunday, October 25-28, 2012.
Below is updated race information you need to know regarding 3rd Annual Stock Car Nationals:
WHAT: 3rd Annual Stock Car Nationals paying $10,000 to win and $500 to start the twenty car feature finale on Sunday afternoon.
WHEN: Thursday and Friday night, Saturday and Sunday afternoon on October 25-28, 2012. Practice takes place on Thursday night starting at 7:00 PM with two complete qualifying nights on Friday night starting at 7:00 pm and Saturday afternoon starting at 2:00 pm. Sunday's last chance and championship features will start at 2:00 pm. Gates open at 5:00 PM on Friday night and noon on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
WHERE: Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada, Oklahoma. The 4-10th mile dirt track is located 10 miles northwest of Ada on Hwy. 3W
ADMISSION: Pit passes for Thursday nights practice are $25 while there will be free admission into the grandstands. Friday night and Saturday pit passes are $30 while grandstand tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and ages eleven through fifteen. Sunday's pit passes are still $30 while grandstand admission will be $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and ages eleven through fifteen.
PAYOUT: Sunday afternoon's championship feature will pay $10,000 to win and $500 to start for all drivers making the twenty car feature. Sunday's "B" feature will see the top ten drivers transfer to the championship feature while finishing positions eleven through sixteenth pick up $300. Positions seventeen through twentieth earn $250. Finishing positions first through tenth in the "non-qualifiers" feature will pick up $100 with positions eleven through twentieth picking up $50.
Registration: Registration is $200.
DETAILED SCHEDULE:
Thursday: Practice/Hot Laps
Friday night: Complete race program. Draw for heat starting position. Heat race winners move to "A", 2nd to "B", 3rd to "C". Winners will draw for starting position in "A". Five cars move from "C" to "B", and five cars move from "B" to "A". Top five in Friday night's "A" qualify for Sunday's "A", inside 5 rows. Next five qualify for inside five rows in Sunday's "B" main.
Saturday afternoon: Same as Friday night's. Top five in "A" qualify for Sunday's "A", first five outside rows. Next five qualify for Sunday's "B" first five outside rows.
Sunday afternoon: 10 cars are qualified for "A", and 10 cars are qualified for "B". All other cars draw for start in last chance race. 10 cars move from last chance to "B" and 10 moves from "B" to "A". The top 20 non-qualifiers will race in non-qualifier race.
