Besides the IRA regulars any travelers coming up to Dodge County for the last race of the IRA season? Should be a great night of racing.

Dirt is for racing, asphalt is for the parking lot.

Looks like the weather is going to be beautiful for the last show of the year, hopefully the forecast is right. As far as I can tell, the only other sprint car race going on in the upper midwest this weekend is in Jackson, MN for the JSTS 360's. Hopefully, the IRA can pull in a few extra invaders. With the Hockett Memorial going on in Missouri, I'm guessing a lot of the Knoxville guys will be headed that way. Only non-IRA guy that has Dodge on his schedule is Dobmeier, but he had Beaver Dam on his list for last week and was not present. Still hoping to see some MOWA and Minnesota guys though. Either way, it's the last race of the year so I'm not gonna miss it. Way too long of a winter around here to not get in as many sprint car shows as possible!

Too bad that Ben Schmidt had to dnf last Saturday, cause I think it hurt his chances pretty bad of winning the MSA championship. 23 points isn't insurmountable though, so it still will be interesting to see what happens between Ben and Jeremy Schultz. The MSA racing has been great this year and they now have a lot of good, young drivers that seemed to establish themselves as the future of WI sprint car racing.

I guess if you want to know who's gonna be there, you'll just have to go and see for yourself. Smile

You know I will be there to film it all. Then it will be time to start on the 2012 Banquet video. It should be chilly but not as cold as last year when we had flurries. See ya there!

Haha, no problem at all, didn't mean to sound partial. I'm happy to see either driver take it. I just meant that if Ben hadn't dnf'd, the points would be a lot closer going into this Saturday, thus making it more exciting as a fan. Jeremy is definitely one of the guys that I'm hoping will make the jump to racing 410s full-time at some point. Don't know him at all, but he seems like a pretty good dude and if getting an MSA championship is what it takes to get him to move onto more 410 racing, then I guess I'll be pulling for him then. wink

Ultimately, I just hope to see some good racing and see everyone bring their stuff home in one piece!

Oh ok gottcha, I help on Jeremys car and know that he wants to move up to the 410 full time just a matter of funding. Hopefully we hold the lead and win the MSA Championship Saturday. Win that then it will be a very good chance he will run for IRA rookie next year.

Moron! Dobmeier thought they were racing at Dodge. He actually went there and found there was no race and turned around and went home.

If that actually happened, then Dobmeier is a moron, for not looking into it further. For Christ's sake, he was 3 miles away and went home? But then again, you make stuff up just to sound like you know what you are talking about, so it probably never happened....Jerkoff....

I heard he let the mechanic drive the hauler, went to the "other" track while he was sleeping thought they were a day early and the ground's keeper let them know they were a week early and have been camped out ever since!

I heard that Strange went to Dodge, found out there was no racing, went to Silk Exotic in Juneau, and promptly left when he found out there was only girls dancing there. Again, just what I heard...

Considering Dobs probably had at least a 10 hour drive, and it was raining in Beaver Dam when they had to hit the road, they probably didn't want to risk towing that far for nothing. Looks like weather won't be an issue tomorrow though.

Maybe that is why there is no 'news' on his website. That makes more sense then what 'dumbass' said......

Roll call! Who else is going? Looks like great weather tonight! Last year this was a great race, hoping to see the 02 take home the win to close out 2012. Great selection of classes running tonight too btw.
