Sean McClelland Sets Sights On OCRS Foes
2011 Champion Returns This Weekend

Oklahoma (September 6, 2012)- 2011 Oil Capital Racing Series
champion Sean McClelland is the latest driver to announce his desire to join
the OCRS gang for the upcoming doubleheader racing weekend. McClelland, who
also won OCRS titles in 2002-03 and was an eight time feature winner a season
ago, will join the best champ sprint drivers in the region on Friday night at
the half-mile oval known to all as the Thunderbird
Speedway in Muskogee Oklahoma. Thunderbird was the last track
McClelland competed in OCRS competition when he was in the field last May.
Saturday will see McClelland, a threat to win at the rip of a tear-off,
blend in with the traveling vagabonds as they make their way eastward to the Tri-State Speedway in
Pocola on Saturday night for the weekend finale. Jamie Passmore, another 3-time
OCRS champion and current points leader, visited victory lane last June and
again in August of 2010, the last year OCRS was at TSS. Rafe Essary reigned
supreme earlier that season as well.
