Just like I fail to see how the Sammy - Darrah incident at Charlotte was Sammy's fault this one wasn't Allard's. With that said Sammy is at the very least a hipocrite. Or perhaps just an old man with a short memory. Or a selective one. Whatever the case his reputation as a complete asshole is intact.

ALL racers are hypocrites. When it is their fault, it is a racing deal. When it isn't their fault, someone is a bone head. All racers cause accidents, all racers get caught in someone else's wrecks. Very few will admit fault when it is their fault and none will admit fault every time it's their fault.

I was racing in the wingless filler class that night. An important detail nobody could notice that would effect Sammy going around on the outside is that part way down the back strait the dirt is piled higher against the wall so the banking increases suddenly there and tends to push you down toward the middle of the track if you are running parallel and close to to the wall. I saw the collision coming before it even happened. If you don't help pack the track you might miss these details sometimes.
