California Hot Shoe Kyle Hirst takes Sunday nights Sprint car victory at the famed Calistoga Speedway for the finale of the running of the 5th Annual Louie Vermeil Classic. Rod Tiner and Scott Mcmillen teamed up to provide Hirst with a potent car, motor combination to dominate the field Sunday night in a tire conserving main event. Hirst has driven for both Rod Tiner and Scott Mcmillen in the past with much success and it was history in the making to see them team up and victorious. Kyle dedicated the win to the late Duke mcmillen. Congratulations guys that was a well deserved win. WWW.LRBINC.NET

Kyle's really been on a tear this year, wheeling the Roth #83 for winged 410 shows, and the Vertullo #83v and the Rosser #23 for winged 360 shows. It's great seeing him have such a good year! Keep it up Kyle!

He's having a great year. 8 feature wins if my math is correct. Has Won in 360's and 410's with and without the wing plus driving for 4 or 5 different owners. Heard he will be in one of Dennis Roths 83 cars for Gold Cup.

Someone getting fired before or shortly after the season by that team? Now that's hard to imagine (not). They do have his name on the pre-entry for that car at both the non winged and winged events at the Trophy Cup but not sure how much that is worth.
