After tonight I think he and Newman could use Lizard Lick Towing!
Will be interesting to see who he gets. With this economy I think NASCAR will see more start and park cars next year...just my four-cents.

I will take that bet. I don't think that STP is going to step up. I remember when STP left Richard Petty. I always thought that it was because they did not have enough dollars to spend as a primary sponsor in NASCAR.

It must be extremely frustrating for him to be a failure in every aspect of life. I'm sure..if he were given a ride exactly like Larson (or anyone else for that matter) he would whip up on them big time but NOBODY will give him a break!

After Larson's showing at Knoxville and Osky, I thought this troll had gone away, since he was silent for three weeks. Obviously, his mom must be out of town and Malt Liquor has the basement to himself and now he's back to bashing Larson, which only looks more foolish as Kyle continues to win and move up the ladder.

There must be some sort of genetic disorder which causes "some people" to suffer so much at the success of others. I think it is similar to "I'm nothing..so you can't be something!"

When STP left Richard Petty, it was because at the time the brand was owned by Clorox, yes the makers of bleach, and they were not real interested in that deep of commitment to non core avenues of advertising, keeping in mind that the bleach business is pretty much a grocery item. STP/Armor All have been sold off by Clorox about 2 years ago now, and had venture capital behind them and they have been very aggressive in their marketing of the Armor Group.
While I have zero information as to STP/Armor All's intentions as a marketing package, I do know that they are approaching business totally different than Clorox did. Also, Clorox did not spin off STP/Armor All because it was not profitable, because it always has been a profitable unit, it was strictly business and wanting to get back to their core business model.
So, the speculation could be feasible, but that is probably between Tony Stewart and the Armor Group (http://www.armoredautogroup.com/) as they are the folks that have a fish to fry in this mess.

Thanks for the info. I just thought that sponsoring a NASCAR team was outside of thier advertising budget. You have to sell a lot of STP to warrant being a full time sponsor in NASCAR. You have to admit that STP is not an everyday product.

Ive heard that since STP is sponsoring the Outlaws next year that they are pulling their sponsorship from the 15. So i doubt that they are going to sponsor smokes NASCAR team.

Trust me, they sell a lot of STP. The STP pour in chemicals are surely the leading national sellers for the retail automotive aftermarket industry, they are at the very top of the list.

They may be the national seller but not the best product. AMSOIL and Lucas oil products are very good also . If STP sponsors Tony I would not buy a STP product due to Tony.

Funny, the STP guy said their contract with TSR runs through the 2013 season and they were hoping to extend it (at the Knoxville Nationals).
Where'd you hear they were pulling from the 15?
The STP/Armor All Sponsorship is with TONY himself (remember seeing all those commericals with him in it), not the 15 team.
