Not sure if this has been brought up yet or not. STP announced as new title sponsor for the World of Outlaws.

Does STP make tire treatment products? Goodyear could use some help to get a tire to make it 30 laps.

Wonder how much this is actually worth.
How much did Advanced Auto Parts or O'Reilly chip in when they sponsored? I wouldn't think much.

A new title sponsor is great. As of today the Goodyear luncheon about the Goodyear deal for three more years is being heard at Knoxville. According to a leading Pa. newspaper, the Goodyear deal in Pa.,if it goes thru,will be higher in costs per tire with no sponsorship deals this time. It is probably the writing on the wall for the blimpy folks in sprint car racing,the newspaper being the Penn Live portion of the Patriot News in Harrisburg.

This should be a good thing for the sport. Hopefully this will last for awhile and enable them to have a larger purse for some races.

Fantastic stuff. Enter the market and contractually force yourself to be the only player and then kick the chair out under the drivers for the big profit. Can't wait to watch a 35-car qualifying night for the Nationals in a few years.
