2 observations from the 360 Nationals.. The much hyped Ford motors sure as heck didnt live up to the message board promises!!! Heck the ASCS national guys didnt fare so well in the final results either. The A was quite the hodgepodge of guys from all over. I sure hope the track turns around before next week, pray for rain in kville mon and tues. (and that it stays outta Osky!) And Jason Meyers was up front every night just like all the message board crew chiefs predicted.....oh wait, anyone still wanna put money down that he isnt going to be in the middle of the "C" next week???? He did pass a few cars.... but no where near as many as Brian Brown!!! You cant just hop in a car for a couple laps and be top notch. I dont even think Tony Stewart could take a year off from driving and make the A at the nationals, and that man has proven again and again he can not only drive BUT WIN in anything with a steering wheel!

Ref to Jason's performance so far. I think several factors play into this, the tires, the track,a different car?,a different set up and seat time in the car, racing it.Things change all the time and staying in the seat and running the car on a constant consistent basis gives you an edge. To just walk back into this after a lay-off like he had says a lot, champion or not,he did just about what I figure he would do,but he is not alone in this matter, several others found 360 racing is just as tough if not tougher than 410's. You work for long time to get an edge with a car and not to have that good seat of the pants feeling from the car is not conducive to a high finish no matter whose car, motor,or set-up. Those old pipes surrounding you change too with time, don't forget that, sometimes your best performances are with a brand new car, then it falls off after that, part of that edge thing again. As I see it.

I agree with you 100%....i wasnt bashing Jason. I was bashing the message board crew chiefs that were placing him as a front runner in the A next Saturday. I would like to see Jason do it. But the cards are stacked against him. There were quite a few stating he wouldnt miss a beat and be the same caliber as when he parked it last fall. Just like they tooted the Roush/Yates horn.

Oh I'm sure it was a chevy that looked like a Ford or something. Anyone know how I can get a Dover t-shirt? JJ still beat about a hundred chevs.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

get out from behind your computer screen and go to the track, then go to his trailer after the races. thats how i would do it.

I just spent the entire weekend at multiple dirt tracks. If Jack ever comes within 500 miles or so of my home, I will make sure I take your advice.

Of those 100 Chevs that he beat, how many of them have a budget that is even half of what the Stenhouse team is working with?

Few.
