I remember talking to Dutch at the Round Up Cafe. He could be there any time of day and was always interesting to talk to.

I remember Dutch flying past me in his Crew Cab Dodge on the way to Lawton

I remember Dutch sorting through used rod bearings to find the least worn ones to use.

I remember Dutch sitting on the front tire of his race car adjusting the valves. Did I mention that his race car was on the trailer on the way to the races?

Of course I remember Dutch on the front straight. If it had been anyone else, it would have been a bad deal but with Dutch it was classic.

This is a little fuzzy but wasn't there a 2 day show where Dutch blew a hole in the side of the block in hotlaps, qualified on 5 cylinders, then changed the motor for the next day?

Any more?
