Makin my first trip of the year to the track this past Sat nite first off I wanna say a huge congrats to the track prep....the weekend before the Iowa Speedweek is always my favorite nite and Is the only time I get over there anymore.....wow 99 cars in the infield for a weekly show all for 15 bones what a deal! The only complaint I had was why do I always feel the 50/50 deal is a scam when the original ticket number called doesnt come forth seems to me another number is rarely called and it wasnt last nite either .So did the 902 bucks go back to the charity? Roll over to net week? My other problem is why did you change the pork tenderloin???? Its not the same,,, actually it was down right gross!!!!!!!! But all in all it was a great nite!

They will never call a second 50/50 number. You are allowed to collect for so long (not sure how many weeks). Then I believe they give it back to drivers if unclaimed.50/50 provides insurance for the track and racers. Also knoxville regulars are provided other safety equipment like seats, helmets, suits for racing. It is really the best money I always lose as I know it is helping out the racers. As for the tenderloin, all the ones I've had since they switched last year have been good. I haven't had one in a few weeks, so maybe they switched them.

I've had a couple tenderloins this year and they were the same ones I've always remembered. Once in a while you can get unlucky and get one that's really old or really greasy. But I don't think they changed the supplier.

First of all it is a 6 digit number, they only read 5 numbers and put 5 on the board. Finally corrected it later on. Probably still in someones pocket.

If it didn't get claimed, they will put something on the Raceway website (that's what they do if it rains during the show before they get a # drawn and everyone goes home).
I don't think I've ever heard (or seen) a time when the $$ didn't get paid out (except the nights when the winner donated ALL of the winnings back to the KRCO (happened just 2 weeks ago, can't remember the winners name though).

ok, so if you were in the concession stand, restroom, or just talking when they called off the # (but in attendance) and didn't hear it, you don't deserve to win??
99.9999% of the time the winner is present (M*A*S*H* 4077th called and wants their soundsystem back), but you can't hear it unless it's quiet around you and your in the stands (you don't hear it in the bathroom, concession stand, beer line, etc.).
Calling a 2nd # is never a good idea. What if you won, but thought, oh, I'll go down after this next A main, you get ready to head down there and they call off another # because no one claimed it with the first #, you'd be PI$$ED OFF.
But, maybe they thought you'd left already because you didn't claim it?
