I have been going to the Nationals for many years now and have always sat in rows 28-30 sec I or H. I am thinking of moving down to about row 15-18, so I'm curious as to the view of the racetrack from these seats. Are the fans in the row in front of you sitting a lot higher up where their obstructing the track? Can you see the backstretch along with turns 2 and 3? It's a little less crowded down there as well and that is what's appealing to me.

I sit that low during Nationals every year because it's less crowded, I got sick of sitting elbow to elbow with people. The view is fine since the haulers don't pit inside the track. You can see the back pretty well of course the higher you go the better but I think more elbow room is well worth a little less vision of the back.

the only thing bad about sitting that low is there are 30 rows of people behind you that go up and down the stairs all night long instead of just during the breaks. can't see thru them

We sit in that area and have no complaints. The view is good. The elbow room is good. It's closer to concessions and restrooms. It's easy to get down when race is over. Oh, and it's cheaper too.

More of a breeze, and cooler down there where there is more space too

We have sat in the lower section of K and L for at least 15 years. Only place we lose sight of the cars are the middle and bottom of turn 2.

Agree with MoOpen, much quicker to restroom and concessions. Have sat in first three rows behind flagstand for years. Great view and tons of elbow room. Plus you can see all the pretty women walk by!

Good question. Had reserved seats up high last year & it was tight. I'm a bit lower this year, my one concern was shade. Foolishly got reserved seats for Front Row Challenge, WAY to crowded, moved down, cool

The lower tier has the least leg room. Used to sit there years ago, but got tired of my knees being pressed into the metal seat back in front of me, also people behind you always kicking your butt on their way in/out of their seats. Also the lower section has the least rise between rows, so if a taller person sits in front of a shorter person, you could have a vision problem. Until the place sells out again, you probably will have more elbow room in the lower tier, as people fill up the areas with the best view first. It's all about personal choice. I'll be there all 10 nights, see you there. Enjoy! "It's Showtime in the Valley!"
