Brill Motor Speedway Inks Third Date For High Drama OCRS Sprint Car Action!

Tulsa Oklahoma (July 25, 2012) – After promoting two successful shows with the ‘Champ Sprint’ sanctioning body of the Oil Capital Racing Series earlier in the season, Brill Motor Speedway promoter Mark Brill has re-booked another event with OCRS. Saturday night October 6th is the selected date to bring back the “Thunder” of the OCRS winged sprint cars to the Brill Motor Speedway as an added 2012 tour stop towards the “Goodyear Tire and Rubber / OCRS Championship.”

Located on Highway-18 in Meeker Oklahoma, this added date will make the third time OCRS sprint cars will have flexed their wings on the reddish clay soil of the Brill Motor Speedway. Stated series president Barry Grabel when asked about the added date: “The first two trips to Brill Motor speedway were very successful for both the track and OCRS. Mark (Brill) and I see positives in booking this third 2012 date for his track. The fans have responded to us quite well there and we look forward to giving them more exciting racing action to enjoy. Our teams also raved about the awesome condition of the racing surface that BMS provides us. We are extremely excited to return to BMS in October.”

OCRS 2012 point leader Jamie Passmore will attempt to sweep the events at BMS having scored victories at the season opener on April 27th and again on July 13th. Passmore drives the potent GAP Roofing number 4j Wesmar / Eagle sprinter. Oklahoma City gunner Joe Wood Jr. kept Passmore honest at both BMS events by placing as a runner-up each time in the JD & Jannie Porter owned “Hog Wagon” which is another Wesmar / Eagle combination.
