I've done this a for a few years with the 360 and 410 nats, ranking which night is tougher. It looks as if Friday is tougher to me. I rank the drivers in three categories, yellow 1 pt, orange, 2 pts, red 3 points. Then I add it up and that's what constitutes the "tougher" night. I'm open to criticism and open to defending my picks.
I would think jonathon cornell would be worth a point...wins lots of races each year, won a couple at Knoxville a couple years ago i think.
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.
Josh higday deserves at least a 1. He knows how to win at knoxville
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!

I think that there are a few Knoxville locals who deserve more credit. The 3 car has won at Knoxville this year and is second in points. Dusty zomer has been fast all month. Randy Anderson has also been fast at Knoxville lately. Heskin is leading 410 points but only a yellow?????? Clint Garner should have a star beside his name because he will dominate, just like he has all year. The top four will be Garner, heskin, Stewart, and Wayne Johnson.
Garner hasn't dominated the last two weeks. He had nothing for Gharst two weeks ago. Even with 3 restarts on Gharsts tail, Gharst pulled away every time. Not bad for his only start for the year in a 360. He will be there!

Let's see, Wayne Johnson a 2???? National ASCS point leader, 7 time National ASCS winner this year, winner of the last 3/4 national races, 2 time 360 Nationals Champ, 2 time winner at Knoxville and 1 for 1 in a 360 at Knoxville. Has a bad ass fresh Fisher motor!!! Certainly a 3, without question...
The Dude a 2 - come on!!!! 98- 99 K-ville wins, he's the guy to beat even if we were racing lawn mowers at Kville...
Jason Meyers a 3 - how many 360 races has he ran at Knoxville - 0... A 1 or a 2 maybe, he'll probably forget to go to the scales if he does win

I think Paul McMahan is a 3 also,he runs the car the way a car should be run as does all the #2's you have listed and they should 3's too,and Lee Grosz should be a 2 anyway hard runner that he is,as far as Jason Meyers rating a 3 in 360 class why not ,he can drive the damn car as good as anybody so a definite 3 . Now someone put together a 410 list we'll see who gets ranked in that one and a 440 or bigger list for the chosen Dakota gang, now thats funny right there, unless your from Dakota where traction control means jumping over cow pies.
