Is Lake Ozark Speedway in Missouri even in operation this year, the ASCS Warrior schedule shows them to be there Labor Day weekend, is someone leasing the track to put that event on, or is that race being on the schedule in error?

The track is not running this year. Not sure about the labor day deal.

It wasn't in error when it was placed on the schedule as the dates were asked for. Now, don't know.

i believe the gundakers still own lake ozark speedway and i remember one poster saying he thought they were running race labor day weekend . havnt seen any advertisments for race. gundaker's also own tri-city speedway in pontoon beach, illinois . may go to there web site and send an email, i have found mrs. gundaker is good about responding to questions.

Are you sure? I thought that they had only leased it for one year. I thought that they decided it was too tough to run both tracks and did not renew the lease for LOS.
Please let me know what you find out. I may very well be wrong.

They bought the track and ran it for a short time before closing last year before the season. Someone local leased the track and ran it last year.
