I am heading to rossburg for the first time since 1999 my questions are 1 should I get reserved seats even though I'm getting a pitpass? 2 is it worthwhile to take a golf cart ? 3 which lot should I camp at ( no hookups needed)
It's not if! It's when and how bad

1...I've never purchased a reserved seat in 25 years and have never had a problem with my seat. 2....If you're there from Thursday on and want to cruise around and mingle, of course, if not it's crazy to pay for a permit and just use it to go to track. 3....lot 1 and 2 are stone and nice if it rains (mud, getting stuck) no hookups anywhere so doesn't matter. no fires on grounds this year due to dry grounds.

do it in the dirt

Eldora Village is a great spot to camp with plenty of space and directly across the track. It's $35 for the weekend. I beleive the big party is at the free campsites which is a good distance from the track. Check out the campground maps on the Eldora site for info. The golf cart is a great idea as there as several different camping lots and the track propery is large so this will help you get around and check everything out.

You should be able to find a seat ... but it will be packed on Saturday night.
