Things to know for tomorrow's show. Pit gate opens at noon. You can come in and start setting up your pit at 11:00 (no earlier please). Due to the fireworks, the fire marshal will NOT allow any parking in the back pit lot. If you normally park back there, you will have to park where you first turn in off Ramona Expressway and walk the rest of the way in. The back pit gate will close around 5:00 PM. After that, you can still buy a pit pass at the spectator ticket window.
Spectator gates will open at 3:00 PM. From 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM there will be an on track autograph session. There will also be a live band and displays. Wheel packing will begin at 4:30. Qualifying will follow and the first race will be at 6:30.

One question though, with the gates being open early and with all that's going on, will the one time out and back from the parking lot and camping area be in effect, or did we go to the no drunks allowed plan?

Kenny, we changed it back a few months ago so fans can go back out to their cars. However, anyone who goes out to their car and gets drunk or high will NOT be allowed back in. We do not need idiots making asses of themselves in front of families and other spectators in the grandstands.

And, needless to say, fireworks are not allowed on the fairgrounds. Anyone caught lighting any fireworks on the fairgrounds will receive a free night and coninental breakfast courtesy of the Riverside County Graybar Hotel.

That's what I thought, and I like the " the no drunks allowed plan". Now as far as the no "idiots making asses of themselves", that might be a little harder to diagnose.
