It is with sincere sadness that I announce that the WAG$CA$H event at Santa Maria has been cancelled. I want to thank all of you who have help to make the Wags events successful over the last 20 plus years. It’s been a “labor of love” for me and the wonderful Wagtimer’s who helped me to do what we could to support our awesome 410 racers. I’ve come to realize it’s time to move on and enjoy racing as a fan for now. It was a great ride, but the Wagtimes updates and photos will continue. A million thanks to my wonderful band of supporters (you know who you are). Together we managed to put over $600,000 into the hands of race teams over these past years. It’s been a blast!
I would be glad to return any money donated for the August 11 WAG$CASH event, just let me know. Any money left over will go to the Wagtimes/Lafond “hard charger” (regular local CRA guy) in the Main Event of the last race of the year, the Oval Nationals.
Remember..... when it's Racetime ....... it's WAGTIME!!!

I'm working with Seth Wilson on a story about his 2011 Victorville crash and recovery. When I asked him who visited him in the hospital, he replied "Wags". Anybody else I asked? "Nope...just Wags...repeatedly".

Ken and Teri have worked so hard for this race to really support a lot of the teams. A big salute to the Wagners, they are wonderfull people.
