81 Speedway/Enid Speedway Set to Host NCRA Late Models Independence Holiday!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – July 1, 2012 - A huge Holiday mid-week late model special await competitors this week as the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by G&G Dozer Service late model division celebrate the 4th of July with events at 81 Speedway in Park City and Enid Speedway in Enid, Oklahoma on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
On Tuesday night the tour will kick off the night before Independence Day at the home of the series with gates opening at 5:00 pm and racing slated for a 7:30 pm start time. Jesse Stovall won last year's only appearance for the tour.
Then on Wednesday night it is a trip to the Garfield County Fairgrounds and Enid Speedway in Enid, Oklahoma with racing set for 7:00 pm. There will be a huge fireworks show following the races in Enid. This will be the first time since 1998 that the tour has raced in Enid and that is when John Anderson picked up the feature victory.
Both events will pay $2000 to win and $300 to start the feature.
After only one event, former two-time series champion Kyle Berck is the current series point's leader.
Drivers from throughout the mid-west and as far as California have indicated their intentions on competing as a huge late model special will take place in Western Kansas this coming Friday and Saturday night.
Among the drivers who have shown interest in competing one or both nights include Berck, John Anderson, Chase Junghans, Chris Kratzer, Mike Collins, Ronnie Warman, Delbert Smith, Darrick Klima, Joe and Gary Gorby, Earl and Justin Kinderknecht, Wylan Petrie, Mike Wiarda, Jill Roberg, Garrett Alberson, Clay Daly, Jeep Berry, Ricky Thornton, Jr., Anthony Madrid and more.
