Okay I know it's still a little less than 2 weeks away. Any opinions on whether we will get enough 410s to do the traditional Kings Royal format? I forget what it is, 48 cars I thought? I wonder if Smoke or Kahne will be racing.

I'm going to say 32 cars. I have absolutely nothing to base my guess on. It's just the number that jumps into my head.

They have had 47 to 49 cars the past several years... don't see why this year would be any different.

T-Mac also has it on his schedule. Would like to see him go as he has run good there but he is running 2nd in points at Knoxville.

That would make Knoxville well represented. Dude, Brown, Madsen and T-Mac. We still claim Dollansky as Knoxville also.

PA will send its two big locals, Hodnett and Pittman. There's been rumors running around that Monteith is headed out for the first time as well.

There were 45 cars at speedweek shows no reason to think there will be any less than that with more PA guys the WOO and people like Brian Brown.

Read on Browns facebook page that he will be running the Doty and Royal. Also believe TK and Sides will be at both as well.

Eldora is my home track, so I always enjoy trying to put together a list of drivers for the Kings Royal. I have 35 confirmed/probable drivers on my list right now and also have a list of 28 'maybe' cars. Can anyone out there rule a few of the 'maybe' cars as IN or OUT?
CONFIRMED/PROBABLES: Bill Rose Brad Sweet Brian Brown Cap Henry Chad Kemenah Cody Darrah Craig Dollansky Dale Blaney Danny Lasoski Daryn Pittman David Gravel Donny Schatz Dustin Daggett Ed Lynch Jr Greg Hodnett Greg Wilson Jac Haudenschild Jason Sides Jim Neir Joey Saldana Kerry Madsen Kraig Kinser Lucas Wolfe Paul McMahan Randy Hannagan Sam Hafertepe Sammy Swindell Shane Stewart Sheldon Haudenschild Steve Kinser Stevie Smith Terry McCarl Tim Kaeding Tim Shaffer Tony Stewart
MAYBES: Austen Wheatley Brian Monteith Brian Paulus Bruce White (au) Bryan Sebetto Caleb Helms Chris Andrews Craig Mintz Danny Holtgraver Danny Smith Dave Blaney Dean Jacobs Duane Zablocki Jared Ridge Jimmy Stinson Kasey Kahne Korey Crabtree Lee Jacobs Marty Perovich (au) Nick Nabor Paul May Phil Gressman Ryan David (au) Ryan Myers Stuart Williams (au) Todd King Trey Starks

Wow what a list, but no former winner like the Eastern rocket Donald Kreitz or the Wisconsin Flash Kurt Winker,I think thats his name,or the phenom from California thats really been standing the Posse on its head,Kyle Larson. If he relocates to Pa. it will be over for the Posse he'll just take over
and win everything, don't laugh it could happen ,Jan did it,he put the fear of losing into Kenny Weld, boy they really did respect each other ,they did,but they wouldn't let you see it,but you could catch them peeking around the trailers watching each other. What a fun rivalry these two had,it was a blast.

According to IBRACN, Wheatly is done for a while. I believe Ryan Myers is running a 410, and I would assume Paulus will be there since his facebook had a picture of his new shirts. I would think Sebetto, Lee Jacobs, and Paul May would be there, not a clue on the rest of the guys.

How about Brad Sweet? Or does he have nationwide race obligations that weekend?

I'll say around 50cars, give or take a few. Tony made the trip last year from Loudon but I don't think Kasey did. The Royal used to be on a bye week for Nascar but since they added Kentucky to there schedule it may make it harder for Kasey, Dave Blaney, or Brad Sweet to make it. Anyone know if Shane Stewart will make it or Larson?

Kyle Larson won't be due to a stock car conflict but will be at the Doty. Shane Stewart has the KR on his schedule and so does Brad Sweet.

I'd say there is a real strong chance that Holtgraver will be there.

As things are right now, Logan Schuchart will be there.
I'm really going through withdrawl right now, knowing I won't be out this year.
