Midwest Trifecta Coming to I-80 Speedway on June 29
On Friday, June 29 it will be Super Late Models, Sprint Cars and A Mods at I-80 Speedway. The Midwest Trifecta will feature all three classes. The Super Late Model portion of the event will be co-sanctioned by the Corn Belt Clash (CBC), the MARS Dirt Car Series (MARS) and the Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA). The feature event will pay $3,000 to win.
The Sprint Car portion of the event will be sanctioned by the ASCS Midwest Region and their feature event will pay $2,500 to win. The unsanctioned A Mod feature will pay $1,000 to win. In addition, some lucky fan will win $1,000 as they enter to pick the winner's in all three feature events.
In the Super Late Models some of the drivers expected to be on hand include; John Anderson, Kyle Berck, Travis Dickes, Dave & Denny Eckrich, Tim Isenberg, Tony Jackson, Jr., Jake Meier, Terry Phiilips, Jason Rauen, Chad & Chris Simpson, Jesse Stovall, David Turner and defending race winner Jason Utter.
On the ASCS Sprint Car side of the ledger Stu Snyder of Waverly leads the ASCS Midwest points followed by Lincoln's Jordan Boston, Aurora's Ryan Roberts, Lincoln's Trevor Grossenbacher and defending series champion Jack Dover of Springfield. Dylan Smith of Osceola is the current leader at I-80 in A Mod points.
