Does anybody have any tips or advise on repairing sprint car fuel tank and bladder? Mine has a small split just below the torsion tube and occasionally drips fuel. I'm of the impression it's not too major of a deal to remove inspect and repair but looks like getting it in and out of the shell could be a challenge.I've read on here that some folks recommend something called shoe goo (I'll have to do a web search for that) but doesn't say if that is repairing bladder or shell. Can the bladders be repaired through any kind of traditional vulcanizing. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Yes you can send the bladders to be re-vulcanized. I've been told shoo goo is good. I repaired a bladder at the track with jb weld and it held the rest of the year.

Have it done the right way....The next impact could split it,and you could lose more skin than you can grow back......Safety is cheaper than the results of a lack.of it.......John S.
