The veteran driver is showing them young kids how to do it. If he could some how kidnap Becker he could miss a race and still lead the points. Could this be his best shot at Gold Cup at Chico's Silver Dollar Speedway? Its not to early to think not is it? I thought last year was his best since he PAST Blaney on the backstreatch only to have a caution neglect the pass. Last year ended when he and Tatnell came together in the turn one. Could he do it this year?

I agree- BK is really doing well lately. I think he has the most wins of anyone racing right now. This is his 25th year of racing and I hope he does well when the Outlaws come to town.
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Seems like Allard is the only driver that can hang w/ BK latley Maybe Wimmer will show up in the potent # 83 ride and win another one. I hope they have a full field at Quincy as they tore up some cars in Skagit.

BK fastest man alive!
Just can't be beat. It's like the 4 second mile, or breaking the sound barrier, some people just
do things that others only dream about. A lengend in the making.

If I am not mistaken, this is more like Brent's 31st or 32nd year of racing. He was rookie of the year at Santa Maria in either 78 or 79. I do know that he was racing in 1978 and that he ran the WOO race at the SJ Fairgrounds on the 1/2 mile. I think he was racing a midget in 1977 and maybe even in 1976.

They had a 25 years of racing t-shirt for sale a few years ago. He drove modifieds at S.J. before going to the sprints. He started racing sprints with Narc around 1982, i stand to be corrected but i think his first sprint car win with Narc came in 82 at Calistoga on a last lap pass over Jimmy Boyd. He also may have been the Narc champion in his rookie season.

Brent started driving sprint cars at Santa Maria in about 1978 and at a few NARC races before he started driving Super Mods. Heck, I remember when he raced sprint buggies at the old Fremont Raceway with RURA. No it wasn't in is rookie season, but it may have been his first full season with them and it paid $10,000 to win the NARC championship. Remember back in the day, if you even earned 1 point the previous season with NARC, you weren't eligable for ROY. Also his first win with NARC was at Chico and it was a day show, Leroy VanConnett thought that he won. When he saw Brent in front of him, he thought he was a car he was going to lap. I may not know a whole lot about racing but, I pretty much know Brent's racing history............lol

Right on Wheelie... The man is a proven champion. To me its not just his on the track manners in how he conducts himself behind the wheel, nor is it the never to say die attitude that he drives with. For me those are all reason i look for in a driver. But the REALLY cool part about BK MR. Brent Kaeding....is that this man hella loves sprint car racing! And EVERYTHING he gave not just to the sport, but all the fine folks he as help along his way trying to make them better, what a man to stand at the top in his sport and do this. What would be cool is if he wheelied it all the way down the back streatch one last time right before qualifying.

You got that right Shrek! Any last one of those guys could turn an average team into a winner. Well maybe not Joey (j/k joey)
I think Brent still has a few more wins in him but if the rumblings I have heard this week are true he is going to have to work a little bit harder for that Championship this year.
Good luck to all the GSC teams at Quincy this weekend and I will see you in Tulare next.
