Ive read from a few different places that the Dude will more than likely be taking over driving the Zemco car. Its not my money or my car but Id rather see someone else in it. Put Stewart or McMahon in it!!! What are your thoughts if Lasoski gets the ride? Can he hang with the Posse?

can he hang with the posse? hell yeah! and if it was your money and your car would'nt you want to win races? people on here claim to know so much about lasoski's "personality", but doubt they ever really talked to him. he's won in every car he's ever run including his own!!

Sounds like a combination capable of winning the Nationals to me.

Not my $$$ so not my call here but I think John and PeeWee are making a huge mistake with this. No doubt Lasoski can "drive" but he never seemed to be the most "user friendly" driver out there. My guess since Leppo committed to the #14 ride he is honoring that (and you have to respect the man for that!!) and this was a "one shot" deal the night he won in the 1Z.
Lets face it people.... most of the rides out there are capable of winning races. It's all about driver feedback to the wrench. And the right adjustments are made to make the car drive and put it to the front. Sure...an endless supply of cash is a good start... but that doesn't put the car in victory lane.

"Florida" isn't that nationals bud....or even local PA racing....
Tony Stewart got lapped at Williams Grove friday night and chimed in with a solid 17th at Lincoln Saturday.... If I'm not mistaken, he has his "cup crew" along at the sprint car races. Tell me a knowledgable mechanic isn't a key factor? Because money sure as hell isn't an issue when Smoke shows up at a dirt track!
Again, I didn't say Lasoski can't drive... he just doesn't seem to "fit well" where ever he goes.

The WoO and the AllStars are a great show when they come to PA... but I'll guarantee you they are glad to get out of town and get back to the cherry picking

I know you are being a smart a$$... but IMO Pittman is a better driver than the Danny is (In todays day and age). Pittman wins and has a lot of success here... but he certainly isnt cleaning house. NOBODY is gonna come here and dominate....NEVER!

Central, you need to go to Florida this February and check it out. Competition there is as good as anywhere and it's no one's home turf. Great racing with top quality teams from everywhere but California( for the most part).
Lasoski is a top five car anywhere in the states at anytime and I am no Lasoski fan. I like Posse, Ohio locals and have no real favorites, after 30 years of being a fan I just enjoy the intensity of sprint cars.

How quickly we forget not more than a month ago Lasoski took a well documented underfunded 98 car to a podium finish at the grove with the Outlaws in town. Oh, and it was only his third night in the car. If Danny and the 1z team up, they will be force come nationals time!!

Danny hasn't done much since he was Mopar powered.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

That 98 is not chopped liver. That is good stuff. Now the #5 that Jac has been driving....different story.

Knoxville Nationals. Perfect timing, give the team a month or so to gel. With a little luck they could win. If I was the Zemco Team he would be my pick.

Winning an NST Championship isn't much right? I thought you were all about the Fords?

I would say Shane has as good a chance at the nationals as Danny. It's a close one.
