Before I sound off regarding my feelings about TK and Dirt Cup maybe I will ask for a clarifiction as to why he did not run the C main on Saturday. does anyone know? I know what I have heard.

Not sure but several big names missed the A main on several nights; Sean Becker, Jason Statler and others. Tough race to make each night.

I am aware of that but i am very disappointed in him. He has come from a C main to a B main and made it to the A main many times before. He should have been a true racecar driver and drove due or die. I drove 2,000 miles round trip to see him and didn't care where he finished but upset me and felt he thought he's too good to run a C main. And if he burnt his bridge with Reuden thats a huge mistake. WTG statler for being a man and true race driver to the bitter end. I respect you for that.

Geez, maybe next time TK will consult you first before he makes a decision. Dude, where do you get off?
Unless your paying his bills, he doesn't owe you a damn thing. What would you know about being a "true racecar driver"? Ever trashed a $30,000 sprint car in a C main that paid $50 to win? I doubt it. Shut up.

Storrikeith - Did you see the wreck between he and Statler on Thurs? Did it occur to you that after getting thrown through the air (car and all) 40 or so feet from the impact that he wasn't feeling all that great?
I do admire Jason for his sticktoittiveness though. I thought for sure that C-main 1st lap maylay would be car #3 for him though.
gdude - You are right. Not a single one of these teams or drivers owes us anything. You buy a ticket to see a race not a driver. Otherwise they would just have exhibitions.

Hey TeamWright-One -
Sorry you had a tough 'Cup this year!!!! I was way excited when I heard Jason was drivin for you! Always been a Statler fan - though he seems to be bit by this place for some reason. Wishing you and all your teams luck the rest of the season.
Thanks for all you do in sprint-car world........

Don't know what the rumor is, but I saw the Thurs. nite wreck with TK and others. I figured he was not feeling well and it had a definite part in his decision to race. It is not often you hear the grinding crashing in sprint car racing, but this time it was huge. Heavy hitting and TK was in the front. In fact, he was the one turned around first. And we all got to see how slowly he got out and how he staggered around afterward. Not good. Even his dad and brother came to check on him. Regardless, it is not my job to judge him or anyone like that. The Dirt Cup is a VERY competitive race weekend and some have luck while others dont. The only way to judge is to put your butt in the seat and see how it plays out. The drivers won't disappoint you.

Princess is at a lack of words for the first time. Obviously there is more to this and she remembers its better to say noting at all than say something bad.

TK took a huge hit Thursday night (I was standing on the front stretch)
When TK got out of the car there was people helping him and the first thing he did was go and see how Jason was then he was check out
Friday morning you can still see that TK was hurting
PS: Anyone here know that team wright-one is a graphic artist (I have pic's) he even wrote a special saying in Jason cockpit

Ok I appreciate all the feedback that is why in my first message I ask for a clarification. I did see the crash, but I was in turn 4 and not as clear as others in front stretch, so did not see as well as others. I did speak to Rod and others next morning and that was not what I was told why he wasn't racing Saturday, But I trust what you have posted and I apologize to anyone I offended. Rumors are not always true.

Dude who cares how far you drove! Dont talk smack about him for not racing the C main. Respect? Does Tim race for your RESPECT? Dont think so. What about the RESPECT for the cars that where there. I thought you drove 2000 mile round trip to see great compotion, not TIM run against it. Its funny to hear fans talk like the drivers OWE them something. Get over yourself.

hey sideways, u gotta understand that in this sport the fans are everything, and like it or not they come first. On the other hand you cant get after tim for not running the C after his crash. I know how bad a crash like that can shake you up.

On Friday night Tim made the decision not to run after still have pain in his back and just not being able to get comfortable. He is still having some pain in his back from the crash in Knoxville and the hit on Thurs made it worse. Anyone who knows Tim, knows that he is a true racer and doesn't give up easily so, the decision not to run wasn't just cuz he didn't feel like it. These guys go out there, where ever they are, week in and week out to put a show on for the fans. They also race to fill something else inside of themselves that I and the rest of Joe Public will never understand. When a driver steps down for an event or for however long, it is a decision made for good reasons, not just cuz they don't feel like racing or cuz they are having a bad night. Respect the fact that they know that they are doing it for good reasons. I mean if they aren't 100% why go out and risk not only themselves, but others on the track..........

I also talked to Kevin Rudeen on Saturday night and he totally understood and stood by Tim's decision not to run. Not Bridges were burned and Kevin's words to me were " this isn't the last time you will see either one of those boys (Tim and Bud) in a 26 car."
