Just returned from I-44 Riverside Speedway. I got a big surprise tonight as the mini-sprints were lapping faster than the POWR-I midgets. I had the full-size midgets at 13 sec, and the mini-sprints at 12.5 sec. In addition, there was more slicing and dicing with the mini-sprints.There was a hard crash in the first POWR-I heat with the car going end-over-end several times. The driver was helped to the ambulance, then transported to the hospital. They run again tomorrow night, and I am looking forward to it. Great night of racing!! I got to see my favorite thing (cars dicing for the lead while going thru traffic)!

Mini sprints have some of most competitive racing around, every single week. We have been drawing about 35 cars in non wing and winged cars in each class. With the exception of one night, the track has been smooth with multiple grooves.
