Unfortunately he crashed in the 3rd lap (of qualifying) of four. Car was totaled while he was going around 224 mph. One more lap and he would have made the field. Would have been great having him in it and certainly would have given many of us the incentive to watch the race.

Bryan is in the race.... The repaired the crashed car til 4am and he got his time in on Bump Day yesterday.

Great bit of news. I think Carpenter was the last qualifier, so where did Clauson end up?

He definitely has a long ways to go, if they can get back up their previous speed they had in practice and if Bryan can stay calm, cool and collected without getting into trouble he may be a contender!
