A Main: Ryan Bernal from the back (twice) by a nose over Troy Rutherford, Alex Schutte, #15 (?), Shannon McQueen, #71 (?), Ronnie Gardner. Also in midgets tonight: Shane Golobic, Cole Carter, Greg Bragg. ... ... ... ... Seventeen 410 Sprint Cars: Fast Time: Spencer (=no= bobbles through both laps; smooth as glass) ... Heat One: Bernal, Jace VanderWeerd, Brody Roa, Spencer, Cody Williams, Matt Mitchell ... Heat Two: Danny Faria, Nick Faas, Ripper, Rich VanderWeerd, Austin Williams, Marty Hawkins ... A Main: Danny Faria from 12th, Ryan Bernal from 4th, Mike Spencer from 8th, Nick Fass from 1st, Cody Williams from 6th, Brody Roa from 11th, Rip Williams from 3rd. ... Mitchell out on first lap. ... Stands about half full. "Wide," racey, almost perfectly prepared track through the heats & into the mains. No Ralphie, but several of the "section." Small but ardent Temecula contingent.

CRA finish order corrected on the official version. Three black Jory cars in a row in front of Roa. Impressive runs by Faria in both his heat and the main. He can really set people up for passing on that track. Also: Wild finish in the midget main with Rutherford and Bernal neck and neck at the end. Ryan got pinched up against the wall a little before the finish line. Right side bits and pieces flying and maybe a half or a wheel width in front. The car had to be hauled off afterwards. Kudos to the track crew for a quick repair of the fence on the turn four end of the stands after one of the modifieds actually flipped and showed its belly there.

Cody Swanson in the #71 did a great job driving from 13th
starting spot to finish 6th in the main.
Qualified 6th, started deep due to heat race mishap.
