Stars of the ASCS headed to I-80 Speedway

The Stars of the ASCS National Sprint Car Series are headed to I-80
Speedway on Thursday, May 24 for the I-80 Sprint Car Nationals. Race time will
be 7:15 pm. Many of the best 360 Sprint Car drivers in the
country will be on hand. Last weekend's ASCS events were rained out at I-30
Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Currently the top five in the
ASCS National point race are; Wayne Johnson of Oklahoma City with 1,217 points,
Two-time series champion Jason Johnson of Eunice, Louisiana 1,187 points, Brady
Bacon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 1,157 points, Johnny Herrera of Albuquerque,
New Mexico 1,060 points and Four-time Series Champion Gary Wright of Hooks, Texas
1,039 points.

Sixth through tenth in points are; Brad Loyet, Tony Bruce, Jr., Danny
Wood, Seth Bergman and Dustin Morgan.

Several of these drivers have wins at I-80 Speedway. Jason Johnson
picked up his 100th ASCS career win last September at I-80. Seth
Bergman won the ASCS season opener at I-80 in April, 2011, Dustin Morgan got
his I-80 win in April 2010 and Jack Dover has a pair of ASCS wins at I-80 one
in 2007 and the other in 2010. Robbie Wolfgang and Brian Brown picked up ASCS
wins this April at I-80 during the Spring Meltdown.

The ASCS National Series will go to the Great American Race Track in
Jetmore, Kansas on May 26th & 27th for the Fourth
Annual Steve King Memorial. For more information, visit either www.ascsracing.com or www.I-80speedway.com.

on my way to get a taco I saw Danny Woods pit crew washing the old #81 sprinter at a car wash in Norman Oklahoma. They said they destroyed a car in Dallas earlier in the year. New car packed with new parts, packed with sponsors and trailer had a backup car in the attic. I think he is set.Watch out.
