To bad they did not get things done to have it in time for the Nationals. Could have made a lot of money right off the bat.

Here's a story lifted from KNIA/KRLS's website dated April 25 (note the above release is dated April 17)

"Groundbreaking has begun in the construction of a new hotel in Knoxville. The Cobblestone Hotel Group is building a 36-room facility on Eric Drive behind the Fareway store. Cobblestone VP of Development Jeremy Greisbach says that they are excited to enter the community. He tells KNIA/KRLS News that they are aiming to have the hotel completed and open in time for Knoxville Nationals. He admits that this is an accelerated timeline from what they normally operate on and says that they will need some luck with the weather to reach it."

Per KNIA/KRLS the hotel may be opening August 6th.
