FT: Faria (only car in the :15s)... Heat One: D. Gansen, Faria, Culver, Bud Kaeding... Heat Two: Justyne, Ennis, Mitchell, Carlile... Heat Three: Kirkbride, Conrad, Hendricks, Dolacki... Heat Four: Ligget, Jace V., Haldeman, C. Gansen... B Main: Bernal, Rich V., Showtime, Barnes... A Main: Bernal, Bud, Faria, Niemela, Kirkbride, Mitchell, Rich V.... Try as he might (and he did, day after day) Chris simply couldn't overcome what the weather had done; first the rain; then the wind. Freight train parades pretty much every race. One laner for most cars with no cushion to speak of, and the A Main wasn't over until 11:30. Jace led the procession most off the way, but lost control coming out of turn four in the early 20s, when Ryan zipped past him. Sigh & oh, well. Very good crowd, btw.

Thanks for the results. I have seen the track at Santa Maria so deep in water that seemed that all of the K-rails in the infield were under water.

Where was the tractor to fill in the trench on the front straight ? Did they trench it for transponders. I saw a pick up driving back and forth using a tank of gas trying to smooth out the MX jump at the flag stand. But the tractor did show up when1 of the tow trucks got stuck in the mud to the frame and the 2nd tow truck couldn't get it out . Was quite entertaining. I love my sprint cars .But there were to many classes and it dragged out until 11:30 on a 1groove track . Big crowd that I saw rapidly leaving early on . I pulled in my driveway @ 3am 200 hundred miles each way . I'll go back but not when there are that many classes. Was cool watching Ryan make passes on a 1 lane track . I'm sure someone will say he drove thru someone . I didn't see it like that , he drove to win on a 1 lane track and he did exactly that . Congrats .
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Transponder loops were put in and we did try very hard to get the track smooth there. The moisture under the surface didn't agree however. Clay kept sinking to the point that the loops were exposed which also created the surface being so rough. Next weekend will be a lot better.
