What will become of Jimmy Carr if Rick Warner is at the 20...seems like too many roosters in the hen house... or will there be a second team ? Lets hope for 2 teams.

I feel there will more to come, just a hunch. It sure will be interesting to see who the driver of the second team would be, any guesses?

WTF- Am I missing something?! I think there will be a one team wonder and it will belong all to the #20 Pro Bass Shops Paul Mc Mahan, I could be wrong though, I am just a girl in a man's world.

I agree hoosiergal, I don't see T. Stew startin another team. He didn't do it before so why now. I do wonder how the whole crew chief thing will work, but I know Ricky will get that team turned around.

Why now...maybe because Ricky is available now and Tony Stewart is a smart business man and knows what an asset Ricky Warner can be to a team. He also knows what an asset Jimmy Carr is so why not give both of them thier own cars to wrench on.

TK may have his head on a litte straighter than Walker but I'm sure Tyler can still run the wheels off of a sprinter. It didn't take much time for him to start mixing it up with the big boys again when he got with Forbrook last year. Still I can't imagine Smoke ever hiring Tyler to drive for him.

I still have a strong hunch. I agree T.S. is a smart business man but also knows two crew chiefs just plain out won't work, so my guess is something else is up! What could it be? ? ?
Jimmy Carr and Ricky Warner are two great crew chiefs but i'm bettin T.S. has something under the hood that will surprise, maybe even shock, all of us. Just a race car fan thinking out loud.

Everyone is probably reading too much into the deal. Jimmy is tired of traveling, TSR has plenty for him to do in the Shop. Ricky goes on the road and Jimmy manages the team / car chief, etc....

That's odd. I saw him after the Late Model Feature in K'ville walking with Ricky.

We just finished wrapping up tomorrow's ESPN2 broadcast. All I can say is tune in tomorrow at 11 am eastern (10 am central) to get the latest on Ricky Warner, TSR and the speculation of a second team.

If that does happen that is big news but does anyone think Donny Schatz will race for someone else other than his family?

They say timing is everything. What a better time to do something like this. Who knows maybe the family thinks the same thing. Time will tell.
It would be great to hear big news like this! I for one would like to see Ricky Warner and Donny Schatz together again, what a team that would be.
They would be hard to beat. Only my personal opinion.
