Back to Weekly Action This Saturday Night at Southern Oklahoma Speedway!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – April 9, 2012 - After taking this past Saturday night off for the Easter Holiday weekend it is back to racing action this coming Saturday night at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
With two race nights already in the books, Travis Penrod currently leads the USRA modified division by 17 points over veteran Tony Anderson. Penrod won the season opener with Anderson taking the win on March 31st.
Richard Brumfield leads the limited modified point standings with Randy Timms and Chris Balthrop having picked up feature victories.
Current limited late model points leader is Richard Brownlee and has one feature victory on the season while Texas drier John McNeil picking up the other.
Ronnie Gould leads the stock car points and has one feature win as does William Gould.
Bryan Wilson has one feature win and the points lead in the hobby stock division with Mike Smith picking up the other feature win.
Gates open at 5:00 pm with racing at 7:00 pm. General admission just $12 for adults, $8 for ages 7-12 and all seniors and youngsters six and under are free!
Southern Oklahoma Speedway is located I-35 to exit 29, then 0.7 mile east on US 70.
