Street Stock Division "Off" Schedule for Enid's April Opener
Speedway Inc. officials have announced that the street stock division will not be competing when Enid Speedway in Enid, Oklahoma kicks off their 2012 race season on Sunday evening, April 22nd due to the storm that damaged the Garfield County Fairgrounds late last year.
"This is not the way we wanted to begin the season," said promoter C Ray Hall. "But we have to go with what we currently have and that is no lights for the race track. Hopefully the situation will be taken care of soon."
The Sunday night event will see the Bob Howard PDC and Mopar National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products southern sport modified division compete in their second point's race of the season with the modifieds, factory stocks and pure stock divisions also competing. Start time is 5:05 pm.
