15th NCRA Modified Season Kicks off This Saturday Night!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – April 2, 2012 - The 2012 race season for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified division kicks off his coming Saturday night, April 7th at 81 Speedway in Park City in the first of three appearances on the year at the speedway.
The series' southern sport modified division will also be competing.
Coming off his first career series championship, Wichita, Kansas driver Tyler Davis looks to repeat his championship efforts of last season and it could be a challenge as the tour travels to two new venues and a visit to two tracks after several year hiatus later this season.
Among the other series regulars expected to compete for the point's championship are Bill Siemers, Dan Powers, former series champion Marc Hurd, Ross Shipman, Justin Moler, Danny McFadden, Josh Lanterman, Jim Johnson, Austin Allen, Shawn Langhover, Jr. and Mike Jarvis.
2010 NCRA modified south champion Mickey Lassiter of Piedmont, Oklahoma will be competing for rookie of the year honors in his first ever efforts against the series premier modified division.
Other drivers expected to compete are former champion Brian Powers and Brian Franz – who lead the series modified division in career victories and victories at 81 Speedway.
Gates open at 5:00 pm with racing set to begin at 7:00 pm with general admission prices $10, $5 for children while pit passes are $25.
