I went there twice last year and it was a great experience. Mark is an excellent promoter and takes care of the drivers in ALL classes. The problem is I am in Wichita Falls, so it is not possible to make the haul very frequently.

some kind of tow incentive (over so many miles ) would probably help out on car counts, elk city is waiving registration fee for over 80 mile pull, but that just helps for one night,

What would it take to get Lawton drivers to race at Meeker?

To be very blunt and honest............just more of the same of what it's been like down there this year. I imagine most of the drivers are gettin real sick of it. You can tell fans are too..........the stands have looked awfully light this year.

racing at brill's there is NO!!!!!!!! early shutdown for the passay people of OKC or Lawton. last week had rain in the middle of the heats , rerolled the track, racing over by 12:30 not bad for new commers with a new track (3 rd year) had some real good racing , and mark left it up to the drivers.

? what I meant by that was if Lanny continues to run the entire season at Lawton like a Jerry Springer episode I doubt BMS is goin to have to worry about gettin cars. BMS has already taken a couple from CCS and now they are gettin about the same amount. All Brill really needs is more guys from SFS. And although I don't like Brill as a driver......90% of fans and drivers are impressed with what he is doin so he's got to be doin somthin right. It's just really sad that more OKC or Tulsa drivers don't support it.....I mean at least give it a couple of good chances. All these sprint teams bitched for so long about no good place to race and then won't even give it a real chance. It ain't right.

i'll agree with you 150% on the sprint drivers not going out and giving it an honest go. some of the drivers don't like mark as a driver because he is very agreesive on going to the front. last week he finished 5th and he didn't tear anyone stuff up. the week before, 2nd and no damage. the car will run anywhere on the track.(1) it is in the setup (2) driver experence (3) setup.

Elk City does not charge the driver for his pitpass if they pull over 80 Miles to race. They have to pay to register their car. Then its just come and race after that. Their pit people have to buy their pit pass.
