I been doing alot of talking to some drivers, ex-drivers, people who would come to Lawton and race the FS class if the 108 wheelbase was allowed. I've seen what an awesome car count there would be by the 15 or so that said they'd come if they were legal wheelbase wise.

I was also told the 112 cars are the way to go, if this is true, what's the fear of allowing the 108 or 110 cars to race with them?

All across Oklahoma, 108 is the minimum allowed except Lanny's tracks, OKC and Lawton.

Another question is, in the rules for 2007 FS at Lawton it says something about "30 year manufacturing date". So does this mean next year the rule will allow the 108 whelbased cars? 1978 to 2008 is 30 years, it should make the 108 legal right? Just curious, not trying to start a riot.

i agree with what you are saying. the 112 inch cars and larger are getting hard to get ahold these days. 108 are all over the place and some do say it is harder to set up a 108 then a 112. i personelly think a 108 is easier to set up. i have a 116 now so i can race at the fair but i do agree if lanny would go to 112 then car counts would go up but then that means car counts go down at other tracks. so its a win lose sitution for everyone. win for lanny lose for everyone else.
