*410 WINGED SPRINTS
RETURN TO THE VALLEY FOR KID’S NIGHT ACTIVITIES*


*Washington, West Virginia –*
Saturday night, June 9th , the 410 Winged
Sprints returned to the Valley to take on the 3/8 mile clay oval.
A field of 21 Sprints made up the feature as Jim Nier of Waverly, Ohio
took the checker of the 25 lap main event. Prior to starting the
Feature, a tribute was paid to former Sprint car owner Pete Smith as the
21 cars lined up 4 abreast with Smith’s car, #1S driven by former late
model driver Bobby Mossor, leading them during the two lap parade.

During intermission, fans were asked if they would like to see the
Sprints return for “Kid’s Night” on Saturday, June 16th . After an
overwhelming response, it was announced that the Winged Sprints would
return this Saturday, June 16th for their third appearance of the
season.
Saturday’s activities will include a “Gold Rush” and bicycle
giveaway for the kids, as well as the recognition of fathers for
Father’s Day.
Gates open at 4pm with racing at 7:30pm. General Admission for this
event is $15 per person (children 10 and under admitted Free) with Pit
Passes being $30 per person.
Sprints:
$1200.00 to win
$200.00 to start

Additional classes racing that evening will be:
Late Model, Modified, Street Stock, Pure Stock and Front Wheel Drive
4 Cylinders.

Ohio Valley Speedway is located on WV Rt. 68 south of Lubeck at the
intersection of West Virginia Rt. 68 and Wadesville Road. For more
