Since the closing of Manzy Arizona has seen the birth of one new track, and the rebirth of two more. Casa Grande is being worked on as I write this, and just this last weekend the newly renovated and reopened Cocopah Speedway hosted the National ASCS series. They also have a full schedule for the year including the USAC/CRA boy's along with the only non wing ASCS group in the nation, the Canyon series. The winged regional southwest series is scheduled as well.http://www.cocopahspeedway.com/

Our new track, AZ Speedway..http://arizonaspeedway.net/ has cut a deal with our non winged group for what's going to be some great racing out that way this season, and we're really looking forward to it. It's also going to bring new fans out to Canyon...http://www.canyonspeedwaypark.com/
USA is going through some major changes including the name, it's now call Tucson International speedway, and they do have some races scheduled..http://www.tucsoninternationalraceway.com/
All in all AZ, always a hot bed of open wheeled racing (especially non wing) is hanging in there, and I'll see you at the track.

Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

i thought open wheel racing was dead with the passing of Manzy- but I'm stoked about the tracks that have reopened, and Yuma now in the fold. Let's Go Rac'n Boys!!!!

The last line of the National Anthem should be "Let's go Rac'n"
