I'd be shocked if they can get that track in shape. That jet fuel will be mighty slick.... If they call it, Dave Blaney just won the Daytone 500.

Not so fast, ~ ~ ~ they ain't about to call the race cause of that little incident, ~ ~ ~ only thing that w/ stop this race is a rain storm ~ ~ ~ <:-)
& there are too many heavy hitters in the 1st 10 pack in the waiting ~ ~ ~ to make the move on w/ ever starts 1st, ~ ~ ~ plenty of time w/ 40 laps to go ...........
.......... I like Blaney, w/ like to see him win it, ............ but upon restart in 1st 10 laps he w/ fade quickly............... & my pack w/ close the door ............. ~ ~ ~
I love sheriffs Joe Arpiao & Paul Babeu...........

i hope dave can stay up there and have a shot to race for the win. i'd like to see him win the thing out right.
they seem to have plenty of time to get that track cleaned up. they ain't gonna call this thing short, unless they ABSOLUTELY have to, after everything they have done to get this far.

Man it would have been sweet if Blaney coulda won it. Poetic justice really. Former sprint car guy races his way into the 500 and wins while the girl who got all the media hype don't. Oh well it's nice to dream every now and then.
