Perris put on an outstanding show last nite. I could'nt find a thing wrong, unlike the "Nattering Nabobs of Negativity" on another post on this board. Not a word about a great car count, great racing, good track condition, a very good band playing some terrific Rock and Roll, fast service at the beer and food stands. Kassarian deserves kudos for a great nite. The whining was mostly complaining about ticket prices and parking fees. Hey, this is LA, the best place in the world. We expect the best here and Perris gave us the best last nite. The best costs more!

I was'nt planning on going to the Outlaw show, was planning on taking in the Outlaws 2 day show at Tulare, where my King of The West heroes wil show up, but after last nite I will go and hope it's a success. The Nattering Nabob community mostly claimed they will not go giving the same stale objections "oh, it's a train race, no passing, costs too much, yada, yada".

I have absolutely no complaints about the show last night. It was an incredible night of entertainment. Perhaps some of the extra money was paid to the wind gods so that they would go take a hike. It was a pretty good recovery for Mike Spencer. Best future star award goes to Ryan Bernal. I hope we get to watch him for at least two seasons before he moves up. Runner up on the future star is Kevin Michnowicz. Good to see Casey Shuman and Andy Forsberg on the clay. After watching the tribute for the fallen race fans, I think that I am going to have to change my will.

I would guess that a lot more folks would rather live here in LaLa land, then might prefer to live in Winona, Mn. LOL
