PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY NAMED "SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR!"
(Perris, CA, February 15, 2012) In the midst of the bad news that has been swirling for the Southern California racing community with the closing of three tracks in the last two months, Perris Auto Speedway has been named "Small Business of the Year" by the Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce. Chamber President Grant Bennett presented the award to promoter Don Kazarian last week. The famous half-mile clay oval will open its 17th season on Saturday, February 25th with the Sokola Shootout featuring Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series, California Lightning Sprint cars and the PAS Senior Sprints. The PASSCAR Stock Car season will commence one week later on March 3rd. The legendary World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will be making their long anticipated return to Southern California in the "NAPA No How SoCal Showdown" on March 10th. It will be fans only chance to see the Outlaws in Southern California in 2012. Fans can order advance tickets for the World of Outlaws by clicking: http://dirtcar.ticketforce.com/.
