There's a great idea. Now we get to see the same cars that win the regular shows also win some heat races! What a novel idea.

These aren't sprint cars, midgets or big block modifieds...So I wouldn't sit too close to the fence.

I guess they feel confident that they'll have a car count that will stand up to the almost certain possibility of loosing cars to accidents etc in these heat races. As you know, almost any contact at all with those cars will put them out of the show, and some of these teams are operating on a shoestring as it is... Just how hard are you going to race when you'll most likely make the show if you just have to survive the heat?
