Congratulations on what had to be a very hard decision.
They are only young once, and you never get that time and those opportunities back.
The very best to you and your family. Enjoy them!

Let me echo what J. Blundy #33 Fan Forever said & add my best to you, your wife & your beautiful daughters who are so very lucky to have a father that has his priorities very much in order.

I can't wait to see you here in California this year.
Woo just lost another great driver. I don't want to start anything, but what will happen to the WoO in a few years when Steve Kinser retires? I think they only have 7 fulltime teams this year.

Congratulations,on your very hard decision,it had to be that, but it will be oh so worth it when you are 50 years old,to look back and know you have done the right thing. You and your racing endeavors have always been first class and to leave this sport now is an absolute First Class move for a first class person. Much good luck with all your future challenges and thank you so much for entertaining all us racing fans, again a first class move.Elite Racing was just that The Elite Team. Thanks Jason.

I have gained more respect for Jason to put his family first. God Bless him!
Jason was always a class act, very professional and a credit to his sponsors and WOO. He will be missed. I wish him well in all his future endeavors.
That being said, something just doesn't sound quite right. I know his "team" broke up but he's one of the high profile guys and shouldn't have had any problem attracting sponsorship. He never gave any hint that he was leaving the tour and he was actually going to expand his operation with Stevie Smith. Now 2 weeks before starting the tour, he pulls the plug??

I agree. Just when I find an Outlaw Driver I like he retires. I have total respect for his decision to put his family first. Thanks for the Memories.

As a fan of his for many years he will be sorely missed on the racetrack! As a mother I understand why family is soo important and I have soo much respect for the decision he is making to be a family man. It must be very hard being on the road all the time and being away from family. Maybe he will eventually decide to race close to home and race in our KWS series. I wish Jason all the best and his CA fans are proud of all that he has achieved in sprint car racing
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

one page in and only got "modded" once? hahaha
Jason is one of the biggest reasons that I became addicted to sprint car racing. There's not much more that can be said about the guy that hasn't already been said. I just hope (selfishly) that he shows up to some of the "big" shows, the Nationals especially. Maybe one day, he'll get the itch again....
