Been working in Tucson all week, love the town and really enjoy USA Raceway. I have to plan my racing schedule in advance, and there is no dog gone schedule for ASCS Canyon posted (or ASCS Southwest) and USA doesn't have a 2012 up yet either. WTF? I drive down for the races at least 5-7 times per year, I need to know what weekends to be off.
sorry ASCS and USA if the schedules are posted somewhere and I am a dummy and missed them...

We do know that the Western World has been moved to Canyon, and that Benji has now left USA to get Casa Grande up and running again, with a practice scheduled some time this month if I remember right. It's kind of obvious that USA is a ship without a rudder at this time, and most everything is in limbo.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

For the last couple of days I've been getting a notice that the site has been suspended when I've tried to access the USA website. Who knows what's happening. I pass the place each evening on my drive home. Usually the gates are locked; however, yesterday evening I noticed that the far east of the two gates was open. Maybe someone was looting the hotdogs left over from the Wild West Shootout two weeks ago!

Word has it that the people who own it will be running it this year. World of Outlaws is still a go.

I believe that would be the Patricks. Perhaps the change in promoter is responsible for the relatively late publication of a schedule?

I've got a great idea SCOTT instead of USA lets have a 2 night show at the PAS.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Heard a rumor in AZ that Tucson is closing. Again, it's just a rumor, I don't know it for a fact, but that's what was going around in the stands @ Canyon while I was there for the Winter Shootout.
RIP Chet and Mark. You might be gone but never will
be forgotten.

USA is a long drive for me and I've had a great time every time I've been there. I sure hope we don't lose another track, so what ever they do if they put on a show I'll still go to USA raceway. Just hopefully others will also and support every track we can .
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

WoO has cancelled and don't know about the rest. Not on either Canyon or Southwest ASCS schedules just released!

yep. And we see Arizona Speedway here in Phoenix got USA's race dates for both the canyon and southwest series. I live 10min from Canyon Speedway so I am not complaining, but it seems I will need to find another excuse to play Arizona National and Star Pass... I'm sure I will come up with something. love both of those golf courses

The Robleys have taken USA back over, and have renamed it Tucson International Raceway.
The following is a post from their message board:
"The World of Outlaws event has been canceled.
The World of Outlaws will not be showing at Tucson this year due to the necessary permits needed. It ALMOST happened however due to time restraints we could not obtain the proper licensing and permits to conduct a show before March 3rd. Sadly we will have to look to next year for a possible return to Tucson.
That is the bad news.
The good news is that Scheduling for this years races at Tucson International Raceway has begun and we are working on the first few months of racing. Expect to see a schedule posting by the end of this month. However, due to licensing and other forms of Government red tape we will not be having any races in March and possibly the first 2 weeks of April. It would be illegal for us to conduct business until proper licensing can be attained.
We are excited about starting events as early as Mid April and we are look forward to seeing you all at the new TIR."
