Donald Ray "Donnie" Crawford III, 24, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 in Broken Arrow, OK. Donnie Ray was born October 8, 1987 to Donald Ray Crawford Jr. and Jodie Lynn Crawford. He was a graduate of Catoosa High School. Donnie Ray was a racecar driver and college student. He loved to fish and hunt. Crawford was hailed as a hero in 2008 after pulling fellow driver Harli White from a burning... car during a micro sprint race event in Oklahoma City in April, 2008. The weekend of his death, he was participating in the 26th Annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals. Donnie Ray is survived by his parents and sister, Chassi Crawford. Visitation will be Thursday from 8-5 PM, Friday from 8-5 PM and the family will receive friends at Freeman Harris Funeral Home on Friday from 5-7 PM. The Funeral Service will be 1 PM, Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow.
