Anybody who has been to the Trophy Cup in Tulare would agree that it by far is one of the best run programs. Invert the whole line up, fast guys in back. I'm not sure on the what the exact amount of the purse is. Someone will post it.

There's an event down here in Australia at Parramatta City Raceway in January that pays AUD$50,000 to the winner. As of 6/6/07 that equates US$41,813. Still pretty good! Donny Schatz has won it six times... The Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Warrnambool's Premier Speedway also pays $US25,000 to the winner. That's been won by Schatz, Lasoski and Pittman. Kerry Madsen is two defending champ.

As far as 360's go, East Bay was $10,000 to win, Knoxville 360 Nationals is $10,000 to win, and the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals at Oshweken Speedway is $7,000 to win.

Knoxville 360 Nationals should pay more like 30-50 thousand to win it. Winning it should be at least worth a new motor. Isn't there a ASCS race this year that pays the winner a new motor to win ? I thought I read it in SC & M magazine a couple issues ago maybe in the Emmit Haun interview.

The Knoxville Nationals does pay $150,000 this year. The goal is on the 50th running of the event to have a 1million dollar total purse.

The 2006 Trophy Cup champion was paid $15,000 our of a $90,000 total. That number will go up in 2007.
The Trophy Cup is a 360 event.

The ASCS Wesmar Challenge, which is invite to two drivers per region and national series, awards the winner a new Wesmar Engine. Its at Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX in I think October.

At "Osky" just prior to the Knoxville Nationals--( McTwo's) non-wing show on Tuesday pays $ 30,000 to win and the Monday night Front Row Challenge for winged 410's pays $ 5,000 to win but $ 50,000 to win, if the winner has accepted the challenge to start in the last row. I was there the night "Haud" did it--what a show!! If my memory is correct he's the only one to win after accepting the Challenge. I think the Dude has been close to doing it at least once.

i couldn't agree with you more. We go to the 1st 4 nights of 360 racing in August at Knoxville......and I know in attendance and prestige it is nothin like the 410 nationlas, but there were a lot of people there last year........I could almost guarantee the racing isn't far behind the 410's. I think it should pay 15k to win or maybe a little less with a real good purse at the bottom. Wither way......STN will be the premier 360 race of 2007. I just hope I can make it........I love that track. it's very racy.

It wont be long before the Knoxville Nationals purse hits $1 million, and first place will pay 250K. Probably happen in the next 5 years.
The 360 Nationls is an awsome event. I have attended the last four years, and seen some great racing. Too bad its such a well kept secret. If you are a true sprint car fanatic you need to get to Iowa for the entire 10 day speedweeks in Aug.

What hole is that? I was pretty sure that the Doty was now run at Limaland which has some of the best 1/4 mile facilities in the country. The track is prepared by the guy that used to prepare Attica and has done a magnificent job of making it very, very racy for the last year or so. They now have brand new all-aluminum stands, skyboxes, and increased capacity by about 300. They continue to put money into the place for improvements just as they do the university that it is attached with. The same university that trains techs to work in many forms of auto racing and the same one that Toyota has contracted with.
What hole are you referring to?
