HOOSIER TIRE RULE ENDED for Wingless Sprint Car Series at MRP
ANY BRAND OK FOR REST OF SEASON.
Marysville CA. The rule requiring specified Hoosier tires in the Marysville Raceway Park Wingless Sprint Car Series has been ended effective immediately, according to track promoter Paul Hawes. The Series will allow any tire manufacturer to compete from this date forward.
This announcement does not affect any other division in any way. However, some Wingless Sprint Car race teams that may have stayed away from MRP because of the Hoosier tire rule will now be welcomed at the newly refurbished raceway with any tire fitted on their cars.
MRP’s new payoff structure in the Wingless Sprint Car Series, along with the tire rule revision, may make MRP a more attractive choice for Wingless Sprint Car teams from all over the state.
